Urodził się 15 kwietnia 1972 roku w Poznaniu. W latach 1993-98 studiował na Wydziale Malarstwa, Grafiki i Rzeźby Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Poznaniu, gdzie otrzymał dyplom w zakresie grafiki warsztatowej. Od 1998 roku jest asystentem w pracowni sitodruku prof. Mirosława Pawłowskiego. W 2003 roku obronił doktorat z grafiki warsztatowej. Chociaż nigdy nie porzucił grafiki, znany jest głównie dzięki swym instalacjom site-specific. Od 2004 roku współtworzy grupę artystyczną Wounderteam. W 2005 roku zdobył główną nagrodę w konkursie Spojrzenia. W styczniu 2009 roku otrzymał Paszport „Polityki” w dziedzinie sztuk wizualnych.

Born in 1972. Between 1993–1998, he studied at the Faculty of Painting, Graphic Design and Sculpture of the academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, where he received a diploma in graphic art techniques. Since 1998 he works as an assistant in the screen printing workshop of professor Mirosław Pawłowski.In 2003, he defended his Ph.D. thesis in graphic techniques. Although he never abandoned graphic design, he is renowned mostly for his site-specific installations. In 2004, he co-established the Wounderteam artistic group. Winner of the main award in the Views competition as the most interesting artist of the young generation in 2005. In January 2009, he received the ‘Polityka’ Passport Award in visual arts. At the heart of his artistic investigations is the space, both the historic – marked on the objects – and the symbolic – evoking the dreams and habits that repose in our mentality.
